Overlooking the New River in Fort Lauderdale's Arts and Sciences District, the Museum of Discovery and Science contains more than 200 interactive exhibits exploring science and technology.
Among the exhibits are the 52-foot (16-meter) high Great Gravity Clock, the largest kinetic sculpture in Florida; The Discovery Center for the under-7s; an exploration of Florida's fragile ecosystems in Florida EcoScapes; an explanation of the universal concepts in modern technology in Gizmo City and a 3D IMAX film theater with a regularly changing program.
